The
Plan
As a professional with extensive wedding experience, your
STAR DJ will meet with you prior to your wedding to
help organize your events for your wedding and customize your
music program. Nothing short of a wedding coordinator, your
STAR DJ will work with the caterers, the venue staff
and photographer/ videographer, etc, to help plan all the
fine details of your big day so youll be able to relax
and enjoy yourself.
The Ceremony
We provide the microphone and sound equipment. It is set up
to ensure that even the guests in the last row will be able
to hear you say "I Do". Background music can be
played as your guests arrive and are seated. Choose all the
special music you want for this joyous occasion.
The Reception
All of our STAR DJ's use a professional, state-of-the-art
double CD sound system to deliver clear, full sound. All equipment
is in place before your first guest arrives.
The
Music
40s swing, Rock and Roll from every era, Motown, Disco,
Old Skool, New Wave, Latin, hip hop and current pop. We have
a comprehensive collection of over 5,000 CDS from all eras
and genres.
The Announcements
A polished public speaker, your STAR DJ will make
announcements in a timely and considerate manner, in keeping
with the atmosphere of your event.
YOUR CEREMONY
The
Guests Arrive
Beautiful background music fills the air as your guests arrive,
eagerly awaiting your entrance. You and your STAR DJ
have picked the perfect music for your parents, the groomsmen,
the bridesmaids and of course, the lovely bride.
Special Moments
Depending on your ceremony program that you and your STAR
DJ decide on, you may also choose special songs for a
rose exchange or the lighting of a unity candle.

RECEPTION
The
Grand Entrance
Your STAR DJ announces the arrival of the wedding
party and your entrance as husband and wife.
Your First Dance
Your first dance as a married couple is a special moment to
share with family and friends. If it is done before the meal,
your guests are then free to enjoy themselves on the dance
floor during the meal.
Toasting the Happy Couple
We have everything ready for the best man and maid/matron
of honor and make sure champagne has been poured before the
toasts begin.
Centerpiece Giveaway
You can play our popular game or simply award to any guests.
We have many suggestions.
Your Meal
Your STAR DJ can release tables if you have a buffet
or food stations. Soft music creates the perfect ambience
in which guests can still talk, mingle or dance.
Special Dances
Following your meal, we like to start things off with a father/daughter
dance followed by mother son dance or any combination you
would like. After our family members, will invite your wedding
party and then all your guests for a slow one with the bride
and groom. Great pictures!!
The First Dance Set
Now that everyone is on the floor, Lets dance! All your
favorites will be played. Your guests are welcome to make
requests throughout the party.
The Bouquet and Garter Toss
Time-honored traditions for the bride and groom. Well
invite all the single ladies and the bride to the floor for
the bouquet, then its the guys turn for the garter.
Always a crowd favorite!
The Second Dance Set
More great music. Lots of variety.
Time for Cake
Your STAR DJ will announce the cutting of the
cake so no one misses out. The cake is available at the perfect
time, not to early, not too late.
The Money or Honeymoon dance
Another traditional dance. Its really a chance
for everyone to dance with the both of you and wish you well
on your lives together. If they bring you a dollar or two
thats a plus, but its not required! (Combining
cake time with the money dance takes care of two slow things
at once so everyone can get back to the partying. (It works
great every time.)
Dance the Night Away
Dancing continues throughout the party.
